First of the Month Favorites: My Go-To Coffee Spots

So I’m starting a new tradition: First of the Month Favorites. Each month I’ll share a few spots I love, starting with my top coffee stops 👇

There’s just something about a really good cup of coffee that sets the tone for the whole day.

After living in Seattle—where amazing coffee is basically on every corner—I found myself on a bit of a mission to find my go-to spots here.

Over time (and a lot of coffee later), I’ve found a handful of places I keep coming back to—where the coffee is consistently good, the staff makes you feel appreciated, and a visit just makes the day better.

🌳 Thump Coffee – The Grove/Market Hall in NWX, Bend

If you’re in Northwest Crossing, this is one of my favorite places to meet a friend or just hang out for a bit.

Great coffee (always), but the setting at The Grove really makes it. It’s open, welcoming, and just a really easy place to spend time. I love the large, family-style tables as well as the window seats where you can do a little people-watching. This is one of those spots that feels like part of your routine pretty quickly.

🌄 Tumalo Coffeehouse - Tumalo

Tumalo Coffeehouse has that small-town charm that’s hard to beat.

It’s cozy, friendly, and consistently good—which honestly is what matters most. Whether you’re heading out for the day or just passing through, it’s a perfect quick stop that still feels personal. I love their chai, which is perfect blend of spicy and sweet. They also have a dark chocolate orange mocha which is sinful and delicious! And the quiche is a fantastic grab and go snack. They also have darling alpaca gifts including socks, hats and cuddly toys, provided by the owner's own alpacas.

🌿 The Junction Roastery - Redmond

This one is new for me and it was love at first sip. It’s tucked into a quieter spot in Redmond, but once you find it, you’ll keep going back.

The coffee is excellent, the snacks are from Sisters Bakery, and there’s something about the atmosphere that feels a little slower (in a good way). It’s the kind of place where you can actually sit and enjoy your drink without feeling rushed. But you’ll want to get there really early to beat the morning crowd!

🚗 Honorable Mentions (because sometimes you just need a drive-through)

A day in the life of a Realtor generally includes more car time and more fuel....these are my go-tos when I’m on the move:

  • Black Rock Coffee Bar — I must stop here too often, because I occasionally get asked if I want ‘my usual.’ Regardless, it’s super convenient and the coffee is excellent. Near Target and Trader Joes.
  • Country Coffee — With multiple locations throughout Central OR, this team always has something to hit the spot! Sisters, Tumalo, Redmond
  • Brewed Awakenings — My dad and I used to stop here for maple bars and a coffee. Now I stop in for the good coffee and nice people. Located on the NE side of town, by Barnes & Noble and Wilco. (And there is a car wash across the street!)

I’d love to hear your favorites! There are so many great spots around here, and I’m always up for trying a new one.

Until next month ☕
